Definitely different experiences, but yeah, agree. Generally, I only like to listen to the audiobook after I've read it (unless there's no other option). It's difficult for me to not miss important plot points when I'm listening to it, but that's probably just my ADHD.

I can't speak for this one, but I have seen it before. What leads me to believe it might be faked is if the cashier knew and was calling the police, they can and should have hit the emergency stop for that pump; same thing they have to do if there's a fuel leak from one of them.
