Ich geh mal davon aus dass keiner die Werbung so geschrieben hat sondern dass sie dynamisch generiert wird. Also ich als Laie würde sagen dass da ein Web-developer verkackt hat. Oder?
The person who yelled that has my deepest respect. It's not a dumb thing to do: it's disregard for your own life to achieve a greater goal.
No shit, Sherlock. He wrote a book about his artless deals. Well, had someone else write it. Still, this has been his shtick for decades and it's no secret he applies it to his role as president. But yeah, the public needs to know, over and over. Thanks NPR for doing $DEITY's work.
Der Untertitel 🤣
They protray it as "overreacting" when Trump2.0 ticks all the boxes that define fascism. It's a fact. But they don't like those. They think it's meant as an insult, not a statement.
He knew about fascism.
> the ones Plural? This happened to me once, and never again since.
hot damn. I once lived in a house that used a contraption like this to feed elctricity from one circuit into another. I didn't know and I touched the psoitive end. ... I did fall off the ladder, but I'm still alive. Of course this analogy is even more flawed than OOP's.
It's chiocciola.
It's the result of a (partly) dangerous society, but somehow so cool. I've never seen anything like it but then I don't go to the ladies' room. Hm. Have to ask my IRL friends.
> The problem that I see with trying to create subtle but universal signals is that if everyone knows them, they’re now just overt messages. Well I assumed it's a different drink in every bar. And advertised in the women's toilet.

The headline is misleading IMO: he doesn't say that using Russian assets to support Ukraine will never happen. He (and thus Belgium I guess) is not against the proposal, they just don't want Belgium to be left holding the bag. that's what he says won't happen on his watch.
Once again I need to quote this unknown journalist from 2017: “They voted for the elephant in the china shop. Little did they realize that they were the china.”
Oh is that what it's about? I thought it was about a romantic encounter in Norway 😳
Nannte man früher auch Zivilcourage. Ja, wie stärkt man die dauerhaft? Ich guck mal was Weisband zu sagen hat.

> if we talk about it here we get banned "here" as in [[email protected]](https://lemmy.world/c/news) ? I don't know, I often say it out loud and haven't been banned yet. But I rarely look back at which community I commented in.
I started calling it fascism a few months back. When the shoe fits. And holy crap does it fit. In January I said "the parallels to 1933 in Germany cannot be ignored", which is still kindof a mild statement, but my "enlightened conservative" relations already went up in arms about that.
I don't dare imagine what that looks like when she walks. Scary.
You know what would happen to Israel if all countries pulled their military support? I don't, but I'm hoping the very same thing.
I love it. Do I sense a homage to Stålenhag there?
Conquistadors (/kɒnˈk(w)ɪstədɔːrz/, US also /-ˈkiːs-, kɒŋˈ-/) or conquistadores[1] (Spanish: [koŋkistaˈðoɾes]; Portuguese: [kõkiʃtɐˈðoɾɨʃ, kõkistɐˈdoɾis]; lit. 'conquerors') were Spanish and Portuguese colonizers who explored, traded with and conquered parts of the Americas, Africa, **Asia**, and Oc...
